Leo King Writes Home During WW II

Leo King was the youngest child of Patrick King and Loretta King Sawyer.  I never envisioned any of the Kings as poetry writers, but this Christmas poem back home to his mother from a sailor brings to mind a touching image of a lonely man in the service thinking of his mother during the holidays.

Leo made a safe return from the war, as noted in this article from 1945.
